This is the story--->>>>>
This is the fourth week we spent our time with many children in PAUD Ceria. It is such an incredible opportunity to share our knowledge with them. I really enjoyed every time to assist the children because there is no age gap between us.
Last Friday, we taught them English for kindergarten such as colors, animals, how to introduce themselves, greettings ,and also English for daily practice. They were very enthusiast to receive some knowledge from us. They were also trying to follow what we spoke. Although there are some mistakes/errors in the english pronunciation, but overall they were very nice. Their comprehension was really good, they could receive the lessons in one day and remember it for a long time. It looked, when we gave some questions, and they could answer it properly. I am really amazed with their cleverness nowadays, it is really different with the children when I was in kindergarten.
This fourth session is not as busy as the previous sessions,after they've learned english lesson, they're given some break time. They looked very happy to enjoy their spare time, by running around the PAUD, eating some snacks , playing , and of course taking photo together .
Before going back to home, we're doing review about english lesson and gave them stickers as our prize. Then, they did their habits to sing and pray for closing today's lesson.
From this activities, there is an implementation of Pancasila as our foundation. It's related to fifth rule "Social justice for the whole people of Indonesia" because although we're indonesian, we still have an opportunity to study English as our international language. So, in this global era, there is a chance to study in another country and reach our big dreams.
Our self analysis as a college student is I can get many experience and many precious value when we were assisting children. It teach us how to share what we have not only our knowledge but also our time and affection. This is my first experience to teach many children, but i'm so interested to get closer with them.
Our suggestion to this PAUD where the program was held is they can improve the way to teach the children, may be they can change the idea to teach every week so the children will not feel bored. In the other side, this PAUD may be can improve the facility so the children will feel comfy and interested to study.
Their opinions/impressions from this PAUD are many children feel so interested to study together with us and they're really enthusiast when we try to get interact with them. Because we are still young and we use many interesting way to make them interested. From the PAUD's owner and the teacher, they greeted us so friendly and also they're very happy because we can get participate to assist many children.
